2020 onwards to 2021

2020, where did you go-

2020 has been something else, with COVID-19, lockdowns, and for many, isolation. Not the way we expected to start the new decade, but that is what life threw at us, so we can only hope that 2021 will get better.

I really miss going to conventions though….

But 2020 has also been interesting for me in regards to what I managed (and didn’t manage) to do. I have been playing the unemployment game since November 2019, besides having some interpreting jobs and art classes. I did however work on my first official translations of non-fiction this year! Did Internships! I am currently a graphic and formatting mod, learning more every day about how to make promo materials for Social Media, more about setting books up, managed to draw, had a friend living with me and my partner for the first six months of the year …. It has been a wild ride, with lots of ups and downs, and now we look at what 2021 might bring!

Onwards to 2021

First of all, I want to work on more blogposts, where I can talk about my process, or how I create merch and what not. I want to do vlogs again, I want to get more freelance work, and I am considering making a second site specifically for that, since it will be branded differently than the work I do here, but that is a work in progress. I am also planning on starting up my Patreon page, and keeping it fairly simple. The month of January will not be charged, but I will only be having digital rewards the first month.

Patreon

On Patreon I want to aim to share my sketches (scans of sketchbooks), maybe coloring pages, definitely phone wallpapers and monthly schedule printouts! I love making stickers too, so that and a postcard-sized print will also be available for those who are interested. Seeing how everything goes, I might want to make blogposts there too, but then crosspost them on here. We shall see how it works out best!

Shop

I need to pick up my shop game, and want to get better at updating it! If not monthly, then at least three times a year I would love to do a big shop refill, only limited by the fact that my apartment is small and I do not have a real area I can have a place to store the goods in an easy accessible way! But I will find a solution, I always do….

Some of this years new products (click through to go to the shop’s sticker section!)

Last but not least

I want to give the site a makeover, update the colors, the design, make more images, actually finally finish it!! I have had this site for two years and honestly so much is still lacking, but you know…

No time like the present!

Anyway, thanks for listening around to the rambles, and I will see you guys soon. :)
